Perfect for any Northwoods Cabin, these pieces are created by artist Tom McDonald. Loosely based on early Italian alter pieces (artworks that were produced for churches centuries ago) various actual objects, fishing lures, beer cans, bobbers and  other elements are presented together to create a spiritual tribute to outdoor adventures.  Produced with wood, styrofoam and spackling compound the pieces weigh much less than they appear. The Can Collages are produced from snips that have been cut from found metal cans. The snips were then nailed to pieces of wood. The words from the various cans are arranged to form sentences.
